Watching the teams towards the end of their series and going by the style of play each team has, I am gonna have to say Pitt will demolish Philli and Detroit will demolish Dallas.

Finals, Pitt vs Detroit, 7 games w/2 overtime games

While Dallas has played great, I hope that Detroit takes the West. I don't know, maybe the new arena has changed things. I just remember that horrible ice during the Stanley Cup finals back in the late 90's.

Nope things have not really changed their home ice still sucks, bouncing on edge pucks galore.

I don't like the Red Wings especially Chelios so I am going with Dallas in the west, and I am pulling for the Pens in the east.

Detroit kicked some serious butt last night, in every facet of the game! Wow.

Perhaps I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but I hope the Penguins can figure out what Nashville did to have the Wings on their heels for a couple of games. Oh, that's right, Osgood took over. Damn, I think I remember saying that Osgood would make everything well in Detroit! Careful what you wish for...

The only player I like on the Wings that I like is Darren Mc Carty. I met him in Detroit when his band was playing at a strip club. Very cool guy. I am really glad that the Wings picked him up again. He got a raw deal from his ex wife. If they win, I will only be happy for him.

Just watching the different style of play and overall abilities of the teams, Detroit and Pitt just looked to have much better skaters, puck handling and hit much harder.

To me, the two series that are going on now look like Detroit vs Marlies and Pitt vs Pirates. Dallas and Philli just look worn out with very heavy legs.

Right now I am hoping both series goes 4-0. That way both teams get the same rest and there can be NO excuses when the finals start.

I still think they should have a helmet cam on the goalies with a wide angle lens.

No, not really. Pitt just wants to finish it at home, same with Detroit.

If game 4 of Detroit is any indication of how they are going to play then there is a chance Dallas can win out. The Wings were slow, sloppy and my 4yr old daughter hits harder then they were.

The versus play by play guys made it sound like the Flyers had just won the freakin' cup! They just forced a game 5 that's all. The Penguins will win this series. They just let the fans go home happy for their last game of the season....
