i caught about 10 minutes of today's game...enough to see 2 ducks goals against the kings in about 60 seconds. crazy.

Outta the West, probably the Sharks. The way they manhandled the Ducks a few weeks back, not even allowing a shot in the 3rd period when the Ducks were pressing!!!

I'd like to think the Penguins can represent the East. But, as usual, the defense is a bit suspect. We'll see if it shows up. Hell, I'll be happy if they get out of the first round. I don't mind eating a little crow if I'm wrong on this

I don't think there is a east cost team that can hang with the west. Look at the points!

I'd agree the West is stonger, but we all now that the REAL hockey season has begun. Can't wait for sudden death overtime, seriously.

They may have manhandled the Ducks, but that was minus their top goal scorer Corey Perry, second line center Ryan Carter, starting goalie GS Giguere (although Hiller was really good in his absence), at last but not least one of the top D-men in the league Chris Pronger. I will say this if they meet in round 2 it will be an interesting series.

And now the real season starts when you get to play the same team at least 4 games in a row.

I loves the playoffs. So much better than the World Serieszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Why do they call it the World Series anyways? Not like anyone in the rest of the world (besides maybe Mexico) cares about boring baseball: America's lamest pastime.

Although I love hockey I have to say I was at the world series when the Angels won and it was a great time.

What?! The Jets did not make the playoffs?!! How about the Chiefs?

I will just have to toss my vote in for the Ducks since the above teams are not playing.

Can someone please help me with this. What is the NHL? I am from Orange County, born and raised, and I have never been able to figure out what the NHL is. I see it scrolling on the bottom of ESPN sometimes but have never seen what they do.

Golden Seals all the way baby!

I'd put money on the sharks eating the ducks - sharks will be hungrier and campbel on D put them over the top

Huh? Did the Flyers move away and then come back to the same town? Did I miss something?

That's kind what I thought. To compair them to the lowly Raiders is just wrong!

My wife's family has had Flyers tickets for 40ish years.
