Default Star Wars
The entire 6 movie Star Wars saga will be playing on Spike TV CONSECUTIVELY starting at 8 PM today (4/4/0. Hell yeah!

Am I the only one excited about this?

Well, given that I own no fewer than 3 copies of the original movies on Laserdisc (original release, THX remaster and Special Editions) and at least 2 of each on DVD (crap remaster/SE from DarthFlannel and original theatrical releases), my dogs have been named Yoda, Obi and Chewie and the recessional song at my wedding was the Throne Room Finale from Episode IV...

You might say I'm pretty much excited by anything Star Wars.

I'm excited. I'm out of town for work, so I tivo'd it. Even though I own the movies, I thought that sitting down for 12 + hours without changing a disc would be great. I'm a sucker for Star Wars.

Depends, are you talking about the original release or the re-release. In the original, Han fired first, but in the re-release the scene was re-done to make it look like Greedo fires over Han's head and misses. Then Han returns fire and kills Greedo.

Han cos he's bad ass. Lucas was spotted on set of the new Indy movie sporting a Han shot first T-shirt leading some to believe the next re-releases of the saga (in 3D no less) will be changed back to its original form.

My Greek/Nerd credentials stamped too.

Lucas is a neutered bitch for what he's done to the original releases. I'm hoping for BluRay Theatrical releases of all 6, but somehow I doubt that's going to happen.

I did appreciate how they cleaned up the matte lines from around the fighters and "fixed" some of the stuff that was technologically impossible when Episodes 4-6 were first released.
