Sorry about the hard times you are going through. We all have that at some point. Why not bring it here? like it or not this is a family and part of the reason we are here is to support each other.

I hope you continue to post as much as you have, I've enjoyed your comments and will miss them if you stop.

Thanks mottmcfly. I was in a weird mood last night. You know how that goes. Plus getting ready to go to Vegas ( i knew I had to be up for work at 4:30 am and could not sleep)getting home late tonight and missing the camp out just makes me frustrated.Plus stuff with the ex, kids, money, my car, is just a handful. I just want to talk positive, and felt my negative vibe was/is not needed for STR. We all ride to forget these things!But man I am in knots trying to figure out how to get through this stuff.I dont talk about this stuff on rides, because that is my "forget about it time".Even though I have got some negative vibes, the positives on this site out weigh the negatives. For this all I can say Is say THANK YOU to all who have given me support, even if it is a simple click on a thanks. I am only human.So much for taking a break from post. I just did not want to burden peeps with my probs, and I felt like that is what I was doing!

Nobody here really, just my problems. Some people just like to say things that I take personal but should not. Its just the way stuff goes!Me venting more than anything!

Wait wait wait...now we alll have problems. STR is a way to forget about your probs and find something else to focus on.... I mean look at me??? I totaled my car...had to squeeze the insurace company to get me money in time for the camping trip only to MISS the whole thing I planned with 5 people at my site because of my stupid out of state house and my mother living in it having problems!!!! SO here I sit....just imagining how much fun they are having. It's just life tho right??? Go out there...ride....take your kids trike and drop off a curb, crash.... and then giggle yourself silly.

Yeah, we forget all that in the riding...it's wonderful. But you can't ignore the problems. That's why you have a beer with your buddies after the ride (or coffee, or smoothie, whatever..). Everybody's tired & relaxed -- time to let that stuff out!

Ignore the occasional negative vibes, sometimes it's just someone trying to be clever, not mean. (But stay off MTBr if that bothers you. Man, I got slammed a few times over there!).

Thanks for the post BigHit... it takes heart to mention the things you have. My own experience in life is that it's important to have somebody/somewhere to talk about what's really going on inside. Keeping it all bottled-up can be bad. Although STR may not be the best place to talk about certain things in public forums, from what i've seen there are numerous people here of the caliber i'd consider talking to. In mentioning my problems to a very select few, I find oft times they aren't as ominous as i'd perceived them to be, and also that useful advice comes from those i've confided in. You'll get through your problems, and when you do, your experience will be able to benefit someone else in their time of need.

Your posts are usually fun and so honest can't imagine anyone taking something you said the wrong way. I say the wrong thing all the time so I try not to say much. Danny I don't think you have ever started a negative thread or said mean things about a person or group of people. It's all good and your pretty fun -- it's hard to find fun people. Most of us are way too serious and take things to serious. Hope to hear from you when you return from Vegas tonight.
