The statement may be literally true, but details matter a lot here.

In their mind being an "infidel" means that you are not "innocent". So the statement could accurately be re-worded "we DO kill infidels."

The BBC Interviewer is trying to ask Choudry an Islamic lawyer (sharia), re. the individuals in last years bus and underground train bombing in London; if they were legitimate targets for al queda to go after. Would he condemn his muslim brothers for that action? The answer is around 2:27. "I could never condemn a Muslim brother."

So the key question here is "who is innocent?" What is the meaning we are pouring into the word "innocent."

At the beginning Choudry says, "When we mean innocent people we mean Muslims." I hope that sinks in a bit.

Without a doubt, there is no justification for killing people; let alone killing innocent people. That being said, it's sad to read some of your stereo typical comments directed towards Islamic people and Middle Easterns. Yes, some horrible things have been done but keep in mind, the extremest are in the minority and the majority of Muslims, don't agree nor support terror.

People are so naive and see things in such a one dimensional perspective. Our government commits the biggest atrocities every single day but you seldom hear about it. Innocent men, women and children are assassinated in the name of war and freedom in the west. I'm sorry, there is no right and wrong here. It's all a loose-loose situation. Some of you need to open-up your eyes and see the world beyond the good ol' US of A and realize the struggles of other cultures and countries who get our "biased democracy" rammed down their throats. Live and let live.

Lastly, I think our government should be much more concerned with countries who have or are developing Nuclear threats (i.e. Iran, North Korea and even Israel.)

I tottaly agree about the border issue, its a sore subject so i wont go into detail on that because there is soo many feelings on this from every direction.


but, also more then 90% of Americans supported the war. then American Media has driven everyone from what they once believed, if you tell someone something enough times they will believe it,

the sad thing is, people dont like the war because of biased media,

if you want unbiased media you need to read something like bbc.

Reminds me of the story of Bush planning WWIII in a bar.

A guy walks up to the President and asks him what he's up to and the reply was, "I'm planning WWIII." Of course the guy is really impressed and asked what the plan entails.

Bush answers that the plan is to kill 100 million Islamic Extremists and one blond with big boobs.
