Default Google Maps "Street View"

Have you guys seen this feature? I just discovered it yesterday and it's freakin' bad ass. Go to maps.google.com. Put in an address and when the map pops up, click on Street View. The icon of a person will show up. This icon must be on a street with blue lines. You can drag and drop the person onto a street nearby your address if it's not blue.

As with any quicktime photo, you can click and drag to rotate around to change the view. Pretty nifty feature, Thank You Google.

If you google that Street View you might find a list of funny or weir thing found trought that, like a guy braking in to a house, a girl in her car and you can see her tong and some more stuff, kind of a fun way to waste your time.

On our street, you can see our car parked in front!

For some reason we find this highly amusing.

At my work I found a co-worker taking a brake sitting in front of the building "day dreaming", I show it to everybody at work and we had a good laugh

The photos are pretty current. We just put up some yellow "bumper" posts in our shop yard about three months ago and there they are!

Well, if you see a dark blue sedan with something red attached to some silver rails on the roof it might just be the google car taking pics. Wounder what he/she gets paid?
