I did buy a pair of diadora biking shoes for $29 on clearance and ended up returning them after 1 ride. A few weeks later bought them again for $7 during the sale! But it's first come first served!

that is pretty flippin sweet! too bad they dont re-sell return bikes. i asked the girl at the counter if people return bikes. and she said that they don't resell return bikes because of the liability and legal things.

how are those Novaras anyhow?

thanks again for posting this. i got there right at 10, followed a 100-yard line of people inside, and got a pair of trailrunners for $20 (worn once)- marked down from $110. i also cashed in my dividend check ($10) for a free pair of wool socks. sweet.

I went to the Santa Ana one. Got a pair of Merrells for $29 and a pair of kid boots for $20. The check out line was nuts.
I saw some guy get in line with a Canondale. I'm not sure if it was a return or not, but it had a muddy front tire.

I sort of did the same thing. I returned a pair or mountaineering boots earlier this year because there was an issue with the tongue. At the sale I picked up the exact same pair of boots I returned.

At the REI in San Diego they do. They had 2 hardtails there for about 50% off.

Went today, didn't see too much stuff I was interested in but I did get a Crank Bros alloy power pump and a multi-19 tool, both for only $15.

I saw a bike that someone obviously returned. It was messed up. The tires were all worn out and dirty and the fork was all leaking oil. It was one of those cheapie hybrid bikes. They wanted $450 for it. LOL.
