I was raised Catholic and went to Catholic school from grades K-12.

In my late teens, I fell away from going to church because my belief system has changed. I am not what I'd call 'religious' more than I am 'spiritual'.

However, I can still respect that people's religious beliefs are their own to hold and though their beliefs may not be something I hold, that's perfectly fine.

So, in any case, Happy Easter to those of you who believe. To those of you that don't, just get out and enjoy another beautiful spring day

Easter falls at some point between late March and late April each year (early April to early May in Eastern Christianity), following the cycle of the moon. After several centuries of disagreement, all churches accepted the computation of the Alexandrian Church (now the Coptic Church) that Easter is the first Sunday after the first fourteenth day of the moon (the Paschal Full Moon) that is on or after the ecclesiastical vernal equinox.

Whew Easter is a crazy crazy day at work, the park is packed and the love is most assuredly not in the air there. People complaining about this and that. You just have to sit back and laugh at it all...either that or I would probably just cry and pull my hair out.

However, I'm with the whole concept of live and let live. If a certain path/holiday makes sense to you than have it. So Happy Easter/Ostara/Spring/Sunday/23rd Day of the 3rd month of the year 2008! Take care folks, where ever you are and what ever you may be doing I hope you're having a blast doing it! Ride on and keep the rubber side down.

Happy Easter all.

The Pub is for all non-mtb related subject matter. This thread included. If one doesn't care for non-mtb related subject matter don't enter the forum. Very simple.

The trash talking and vulgarity were in the earlier posts. For a believer it is offensive when someone is mentioning Jesus Christ, Mary, the disciples, or any other central figure of the bible mixed in with curse words or offensive behavior. There are plenty of verses about blasphemy of the holy Spirit, so it will hit close to home for Christians.
That's ok cause we are given opportunities all the time to spread the gospel to whomever God may put in front of us.
I believe in beer too, I just don't get drunk like I used to before I was Christian. I am always glad to share my testimony, ask me anytime. God bless.
