Yeah, buy.com is a well known site, also it still is covered under Apples warranty. i bought one,
a new is only 50 bucks more, but refurbished is like new.

I believe the warranty on re-furbs is only 30 days. When mine died, I took it to the Apple store and they warrantied my new iPod with a re-furb, but was told that the warranty was only 30 days....not one year like my old one.

go to www.apple.com and type in "refurbished" in the search bar- it'll pull down refurbished macs, ipods, iphones and special deals. this is probably the best way to guarantee your warranty, be able to purchase AppleCare and even have a better choice on color.
