There is a pub I sometimes visit to watch the games right behind fashion island. The name slips my mind, but great place to watch the game live!

Yea, I watched it. We looked decent, but all of the goals were from set pieces rather than the run of play. I would like to see us a bit more dangerous up top, but we looked pretty solid in the midfield and did well enough in back to shut them out.

Still, we kept them out of goal and took a win on european soil (rare for the USA) against a good Polish side.

Some more good international matches in the next few months. I hope they will feature out best against their best rather than the "B" sides that are sometimes fielded.

Mate! Chelsea fell to bits. Bad result. Dunno about anyone getting stabbed.

Let me know when! I usually go for the stew there. I have a fellow south african co-worker that told me about a few other places in Laguna Beach and Long Beach but too far of a drive from work.

Here's my other 'vintage' jersey. Just had it signed by Barry Venison. Remember him? In one word...mullet!

Nice-I like that. I've got a signed jersey as well. I'm working on uploading a pic now.

The pic of the jersey is on my profile, but I don't know how to transfer it. You can barely make it out, but Ian Rush's sig is on it.

Very cool. Looks like you have a ton of other signatures on there. Did you buy it like that?

I'm a bit behind but I just finished watching ManU handle Roma 2-0. Sloppy game but nice results, the header for the first goal was sweet.

No, my Dad played in England-mostly for Wolves. He and Joe Corigan were friends.

Oops, pressed post too quickly. Joe Corigan got it for me.

He got hammered for it to. Van Der Sar (sp?) had a couple of good saves too. Rooney's goal was just being in the right place at the right time but I'll take it!

England/USA at the new Wembley May 28. Some friends of mine (on both sides of the pond) got together and have a dozen tickets. If I can get my passport renewed in time, I'll be there. Even though its a friendly, I hope they will field good sides.

I was almost going to call it 1-1 but after seeing the Gooners come back against Boro from 2-0 to win 3-2 with 10 men, I had to give them the edge. Solid result for your boys. I have a feeling that away goal will be the decider.

Oh man what a heartbreaker. I was absolutely gutted all afternoon. The winner was a knuckleball from probably 40 yards. Nothing to do about that. We do have the away goal, so we only need to win at home by any result to go through. I still question Avram Grant's substitutions though. Pulling Lampard out and then 4 minutes later they score from the middle?

I would love to, but I work deep in San Clemente. Anyone work in south OC?
