Default Dear split open knee pictures...
One of the worst things about this site (ok, the only bad thing) is when the pictures rotate to some super gruesome split open/green stained knee. I'm trying to eat a snack and this is what I get. hahaha ew!

It looks too fresh to be infected. Skin gets a yellow-ish appearance if it's been cleaned with betadine. I'm curious about the circumstances behind the injury and how many stitches/staples it took to close it. I think I see some sub cutaneous fat and maybe even the knee capsule.

I've seen some nasty stuff in my 8+ years as a 'Medic and this is fairly impressive.
