Default A bit of a predicament ...

So here's the story ...

I do most of my riding on base (Camp Pendleton). It is the norm to see/ride past some assortment of tactical vehicles, which can be anything from tanks to helicopers.

So I take a break to use a porti-potty in a remote location on base. Leaning my my bike against the side, I went in to do my business.

That's when I started to hear this rumbling noise ... could it be a tank?

What I came to realize was that the rumbling was my bike was sliding down the side of the potty ... not ideal for the paint but what could I do at the moment?

My realization came to a head when I discovered that not only did my bike slide down, it had wedged itself in front of the door.

I AM TRAPPED in a porti-potty at high noon with the temps approaching 80.

After pushing on the door and shaking the entire potty (fear of tipping it?) for a while I was able to get an arm out and grab the bike.

After about 10 minutes I'm able to free myself. Talk about a breath of FRESH air.

it was a good prank,

Well, shit happens and bikes fall. It sucks when it doesn't go as planned. As my dad always asks when things go bad, did you learn anything?

Great story!
