seriously? watch a little cspan and you'll see some huge differences. you don't think if gore had won 7 years ago-or kerry 3 years ago-that things wouldn't be vastly different now in: the war, new orleans, gitmo, the economy, supreme court nominees, environmental protection, abortion rights, torture, eavesdropping, port safety, tax cuts (for the rich), international relations, corporate welfare, separation of church/state, healthcare, education, immigration, stem cells, gay rights, etc.- and that's just off the top of my head...

edit: crap- i almost forgot torture...

The "differences" in the parties is minimal.
