No need. That Dem Congress passed that after the previous 30 years of Congressional control (spending). They needed to get their house in order. It was about damn time.

I also remember LBJ and the Congress escalating and dragging us through Vietnam, but I guess selective memory precludes some from accepting that crap happens on both sides of the aisle. I also remember that Richard Nixon got us out of Vietnam, but that doesn't mean he should be knighted either.

Just because one side disgusts me, doesn't mean the other doesn't do the same.

While we're talking about scandal, BC had one of the most scandalous administrations ever. RR's was far from squeaky clean too, on and on. Politics is a dirty game. I can acknowledge the reality of that.
