Default Richie Rich Needs a Job!!!

Having been laid off a few months ago from my job (company went belly up), I have been having a heck of a time finding a new one. I thought that it wouldn't be a bad idea to broadcast this to hundreds of people who know each other, who know others...you get the picture. So I'm asking my tribe for thoughts, ideas and help, please. Now here's a snippet of what I can bring to the table:

-Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a minor in Graphic Design

-2 years Retail Management Experience

-Experience as a Graphic Designer within a Ski Resort Marketing Department

-4 years as an Office Assistant

-Multiple seasons as the Mechanic/Team Assistant for the DEVO Junior/Pro Mountain Bike Team

If anyone has some advice, person to talk to or other guidance I'd love to hear from you...PM or post your heart out and thanks a bunch.

Rich

P.S. I live in Laguna Niguel and would like to keep it as close as possible, but for the right thing who knows...

since you have graphic design experience, sign/hook up with agencies like;
Aquent
Creative Focus
The Creative Group

My wife gets her work through them as a designer....good luck!

I am also in the same predicament, so far its been over a year with no pay and maybe a dozen interviews with no job offers.. sucks big time... I also have my bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and over 15 years of experience.. So best of luck to all of you doing the unemployement shuffle, hopefully you won't be looking as long as I have. Until then, ride your ass's off and drink more beer!!!!! Erik

www.indeed.com

It's a metasearch engine for jobs (compiles the results from several other job search engines)...
