I'm a Lute Olson fan (and thus an AZ fan) and had a roomie from Tucsun in college. Always root for em, but knew they wouldn't go any further than the second round. Was just hoping they'd make it beyond the first round.

Who Will Win It All?

UCLA will win its first NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball championship since 1995 with a dramatic come-from-behind victory over North Carolina, according to an EA Sports NCAA March Madness 08 video game simulation of the Final Four on the Xbox 360.


In the EA Sports simulation, Josh Shipp hits a three-point basket with 20 seconds remaining to lift the Bruins to a 66-64 win over the Tar Heels and the school's 12th national title. UNC's Tyler Hansbrough had a chance to tie the game and send it into overtime with two seconds remaining but his short jumper was blocked by the Bruins' Kevin Love.

North Carolina led 41-29 at halftime but UCLA opened the second half on a 21-9 run to tie the game at 50. The teams exchanged baskets until the final minute where, with UNC leading 64-63, the Bruins moved the ball around the perimeter and into the hands of Shipp spotted up at the top of the 3-point line for the title-clinching basket.

UCLA advanced to the title game with a 74-72 win over Memphis. UCLA forward Love hit the game-winning basket with two seconds remaining against Memphis in a game the Bruins also trailed, 50-41.

Kansas Guard Breaks Kneecap
SAN ANTONIO (April 4) - Kansas reserve guard Rodrick Stewart fractured his right kneecap Friday during the Jayhawks' open practice at the Alamodome.

Kansas coach Bill Self confirmed the injury, saying Stewart slipped on a "wet spot" on the court and will require surgery.

Stewart crumpled to the court after leaping to attempt a dunk near the end of 50-minute workout. As Stewart pounded the court, Self and trainers rushed to his side.
