Pointer: External antennas get better reception for the most part. That "a cell phone is only as good as the network its on" propaganda is BS. There's something called RX gain. The best reception I've seen on a GSM based handset was on the blackberry 7200s, believe it or not.
I think he means integrated battery. Batteries are maintenance items. remember this fiasco? You trust apple products? Besides, i think its kinda bullyish to disable EVERY function of the iphone unless its on the air with a plan? http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news03/apple_ipod.html Also, For those who don't know, what the carriers won't tell you when you go in and say "I just want a phone for emergencies" is that any and every handset in working condition is required by the FCC to be able to dial 911. plan or no plan. |

They have a feature that lets you compare phones side by side based on the features you want. |

Of all the phones I had, I have never had to replace the battery because of it not holding a charge. Mine typically last 3 yrs before something breaks or gets worn out.

Oh yeah, and I don't want to spend all my money on the phone (another reason against the iPhone) and I am not looking for my phone to use for music. Just communication (texting and calling) and I want it to help with organization/tasks, that kind of thing. |

Has all the features of the other phones but the battery life is 7 hours. And it's FREE! Just got it today, so I can't give you a review. |

I love my Curve 8310. It only cost me 100 bucks. I put in another 2GB for music, etc. I have full control of the apps that are on there (no flashing necessary). Google has several apps, and their map app works with the Curve's GPS.
