Was this Saturday night?

I was in Riverside and didn't wake up!! I did at 11:51 pm when my friend from out of town texted me to say something about my sister. That sucked.

I lived about 5 miles from where that MONSTER F5 tornado went through Jarrell, Texas in 1997 killing 27 people. The base was 1/2 mile wide and it was only traveling at 2mph on the ground. Estimated wind speed was almost 300 mph. If you do the math, that means it stayed over one spot, blowing at 300 mph, for about 30 minutes. The pressure differentials were so great that it literally sucked the foundations of the houses up out of the ground and sucked up more than a mile of asphalt pavement from the road as it crossed. A guy I worked with at the time was one of the first EMT responders on site after it went through. He said the body parts they found were completely purple from exploding blood vessels from within.
