Dude you were the one that got me looking into those stupid things. I recently went to Colorado and Xjet gave those out. Oh man, I'm in love now. With both the airline that feeds me those, and those damn Uncrustables.

I make my own. All you need is a Pampered Chief cut-n-seal gadget. This way you can use a good whole wheat bread and a low sugar Jam. Put in baggies and freeze - add to pack for rides.

Now that's the ticket. Uncrustables are foul. It's like John Belushi's "Little Chocolate Donuts - Breakfast of Champions". My 3 year old and my 5 year old boys wont even eat them. In fact, next field trip "Gizmo" has, I'll ask him to round up all the Uncrustables the kids don't eat (like 40) and I'll bring them to a group ride. Nasty little styrofoam pucks they be. Why not just eat Twinkies?

A coworker had a honey and peanut butter on wheat Uncrustable, holy man that looked yummy. Said she got them at Albertson's, but I haven't been able to find them yet. Anybody?

I use ours almost daily for my 6 and 8yr old. Works best with really fresh bread.
