Default Photography project of the week

I don’t know if this will take off or not but I thought I would give it a try, a weekly photo project, each week there will be a new assignment and throughout the week you post your photos relating to the subject, ideally the photos should be photographed that week but if you have an older photo go ahead and post it.
If this gets popular I will try to post a new subject on Thursday or Friday (before the weekend), if I forget please feel free to post your own subject or PM me an idea for a subject for the week.

Here is the first assignment “Spring has sprung”

That's awesome. We used to do this on the r/c site I was on. Wish I had some time for real photos this weekend. Maybe I'll wind up with something anyway!

Should be a great weekend for it. Can't wait to see the photos.

I like the idea. I don't think I could do every week though.

Off topic a bit, but bike related. I have been "experimenting" with my minewt x2 dual, and very slow shutter speeds on my D40. The result.....

Nice! The streetlights cast that nasty yellow haze every time I try this! Thanks!

Default Spring: My contribution to the set.

Located at the north end of Spring Canyon, this shot taken 3/5/08 shows on of the hillsides ready to bust open a variety of wildflowers, including "Golden Poppies".

The second picture truly exemplifies Spring is Sprung. This trail was a dusty brown and will return that way in no time at all. For now......it is GREEN! Pic also taken 3/5/08 in the same vicinity.....

Woo Whoooo, we LOVE FAST singletrack, now if I can only keep up with the boys...... hey guys.....wait for me!

is there a rule that it has to be rding related?
like a pic with a rider in it?
that would be cool if it were only riding action shots with spring in the background/foreground.. it would also make it tougher
