I think several of the Trail Angels have been there. Hopefully they will chime in!

I've been to Hanger 18 in Upland, CA. Fun time a little expensive though.

there's one like that here in Arcadia that the girlfriend and I went to once. Nothing but walls and walls of climbing, but with no harnesses (giant padding on the floor)

fun once or twice

day pass was $15, thought admittedly we only lasted an hour or so before getting exhausted. we should have paced ourselves, or had others go with us

yup, though go on the weekend when other new people are there, it was intimidating on a weekday with just the local hardcore dudes there.

also, once a month they have ladies night where women climb for free for the day

I hear that Rockreation is a good site.

Rock City I've been told has more bouldering than a typical climbing gym. Different strokes.
