Do You Like to Boogie?

Howdie STR Fam. So I've heard talk of clubs and prowlin' around, but how many of you all actually use the dance floors? In particular, how many of you swing dance or would like to learn?

If you're unsure of what swing dancing is, it's more common names are the Lindy Hop, the Charleston and the likes.

I have no dancing skillz whatsoever but get me a little drunk and I'm all over the dance floor...my dance lessons cost about $6 each depending where we go that night.

But really if I'm somewhere with a dance floor I sure won't be one of the guys on the sidelines watching, wishing, hoping for something to happen. Ima get out there with my (lack of dancing) skills and make it happen...

I used to Lindy Hop a bit back in the day. I never got very good at it though. Are you an instructor?

Not an instructor by any means. Just a newbie to it. Been dancing swing since November '07. I usually go Monday nights to Coffee Depot in Downtown Riverside. Its free and they have beginner lessons at 7:30pm. Been messing with an got hooked. Seeing who else shares my loves MTB and Swing!!! If you live near by you should come on out. No need to bring a partner, though if you have one it never hurts.
As for instructions, I know a few peeps who are generous and eager to teach, so those can be arranged.

Dizle, Promise you wouldn't need to be drunk to swing. Though you may need to be to get on the floor. Anyways, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective) most swing clubs I know, don't serve to booze.
The only Brew Coffee Depot has is of the root and bean types. Lets get hopped on CAFFIENE yeah.
