Does it all the time on the 80's channel. I've had Sirius in two cars for over 5 years. I had to listen to regular radio for around a week - thought about blowing my brains out from the commercials.

When they (Sirius/XM) merge, it won't make a difference.

I jumped on the Sirius bandwaggon when Howard switched over. I even have a setup on my commuter bike using my sportster. As far as sports goes I only listen to basketball and usually just have it set up to show the score updates while I listen to music. I've got a seperate magnetic antenna for the truck that I wired up. I've also got a home antenna that I take along when in someone elses vehicle for road trips and just throw it on the dash. When at home I usually just listen online. I'm satisfied with the music options but I don't like that they still have DJs that talk in between songs. They talk less than terestrial radio DJs but I would rather just hear music. The only time I want to hear someone talk on a music channel is when they have gueat DJs.
As far as the merger goes they say nothing will be affected when they merge, time will tell. The only reason they haven't merged is the terrestrial radio industry is buying politicians not to make it happen. Both Sirius and XM will go bankrupt eventually if they don't merge and the radio industry is trying to delay it so they will both go under. I don't think either company has made a profit yet. Satellites aren't cheap and launch costs are huge. They only last about 10 to 15 years so they would like to merge before this cycle comes around again.

I paid for my lifetime suscription to sirus. I like listening to the same top 100 over and over and over, J/K. I like it on long trips where there is no regular radio reception. Scott, I still remember when you complain about DJ's being on Sirus. LOL
