funny story... my neighbor was moving, and i was helping him out. His little brother (around 10 y.o. ) was pissing everyone off...


So we ductaped him to the side of the moving van.

I've wanted to tape my 8 month old's mouth shut. I miss sleep. Now she stands up in her crib and screams...

our 6 m.o. is doing the same thing!

i walked into her room this morning and saw nothing but her arm sticking out of the crib. yes, we're getting netting to keep that from happening.

she's able to pull herself up to standing now. we're approaching screwed- baby proof everything! remove anything on the bottom two shelves! tell the dogs to pack and leave if they like their tails and ears!!!

el dood- you realize we're providing the ultimate birth control to those w/o kids?

My GF has a 6 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. 20 months apart I believe. Sometimes I want to tape them upside down on the wall or on my ceiling in seperate rooms so I won't have to hear them whine about who got what.

Around 1:30 she was standing. I went in there and soothed her and tried to sleep on the floor with no pillow. That wasn't working, so I sneaked out and went back to bed. Around 4 she woke again screaming and standing. This time she had 5#!7 her pants. I changed her and grabbed a couple of pillows from the bedroom and slept on the floor.

6:30 she woke up and started talking to me through the bars. Smiling and laughing and being all cute. That and the tax refund we got (even after bumping my exemptions way up) made me think "hmmm. maybe we should make more."

We used to do this with high school kids at a Christian Youth camp as a team building exercise. Gave them a half role of Duct Tape, a chair and had them come up with a the best way to keep someone up on the wall. Solid exercise. Only took volunteers and they knew what they are getting into. Mostly the Jr. boys and a few of the younger high school lads volunteered. Had one dude who weighed under a buck that lasted for a good 30 minutes on the side of a storage container.

yup- that was 6 am- all cooing, cute, babbling. damn kids.

haven't done taxes yet- can't wait to see what "our little refund" gets us
