Default expn bada$$ boarder poll (board not bike)

article and poll for best male boarder EVAAAAA!!! mad love to the flying tomato but Terje's 30+ boost was siiiiiiiiiiiiick!!!

http://expn.go.com/expn/story?pageName=malebestever

Who is the best male snowboarder of all-time? With so many factors to consider — style, technique, industry influence — coming up with a definitive list was no easy task. It's almost no wonder that when we first kicked around ideas about who deserved the ultimate honor, names were shouted, scribbled down, then read aloud only to find that The Red Head had eluded the first draft. Eventually Shaun got a nod, but this anecdote is to remind you to keep your mind open and aware of the grand scheme; that is, the whole forest and not just the highly-televised trees.

oops. just read the article and saw that Terje was indeed first place. glad to see he's back on the scene. and i love Jamie Lynn. I had a gorgeous Lib Tech Jamie Lynn board that I just passed on to a friend who's learning to snowboard.

My favorite female snowboarder is Barrett Christie. To me she has the biggest balls of any woman snowboarder.

On another note, i had no idea that Craig Kelly died. Why did I not hear about that? That's sad. But better to die on the mountain than from a car accident or cancer, I suppose...

I don't even have to click the link to know that Terje is the Gretsky, Pele, and Jordan of snowboarding. Nobody will ever be close. For the ladies, definitely Tara Dakides.

Jamie Lynn was such a cutie too (I used to think he was sooo hot).

Off Topic - we've got these cool wireless cams at our cabin, It's snowing right now up there!

I know where we'll be this weekend! any takers for Sunday?

I had no idea the Terje was back. Good for him.

With Mario Cipollini coming out of retirement to road race, what's next?

I never cared to much for Terje (didn't like his style I guess...) but for the males it's a tie between Jamie Lynn and Peter Line. I have no clue for the females.

hmmmm i may try and head up there this Sunday. My last day on the mountain was cold and icy so it would be fun to board with better conditions. problem is...the Oscar party i am going to starts at 3:00 ish. I know, I know. I'm a dork. But I'm an actor for God's sake. It's like our Superbowl

I remember buying a "group" birthday gift for our 1st freind to turn 30 A green Seone (salomon) sadly our freind used it once, he hit a 30ft gap and when coming down had a choice to hit a kid that used the side of the jump as a kicker or hit hard on the ground. He choose to miss the kid and broke his hip. That was the last day he's ever been on the snow - very sad day.

Pm us if your up, sounds like a big day for us Maddies cousins are going to take lessons - Their 8 & 6, She's pretty cocky about, she "doesn't need lessons anymore" She needs help on her toe side turn she may just end up in a lesson herself.

At the risk of further derailling this thread, I was in Big Bear yesterday and it dumped all afternoon into the evening. A good 8" of pow on my truck. Made for an entertaining drive off the mountain.

Terje. Hands down for style.

I did really dig Jamie Lynn's style, too. Shaun White rounds out my top 3.
