Would this be a good 4x frame?

Mudman, that color rocks! Congratulations, I can't wait to see it complete.

You "may" have one? Can't commit? Anyhow, too late for many of us here. I should be picking up my Mob soon as well.

They don't give all the specs, so it's hard to tell. Nonetheless, the head tube angle looks very steep. I'd say it may be a good econo hardtail XC frame, but I have doubts it would be a good 4X frame.

yeah its pretty cool, because the red is tranlucent and you can see the brushed steel right through it.

I'm still not sure on the specs so it may not be built up as soon as I want.

It was hidden in plain sight, but I found the chainstay length on that Leader frame: about 16.75" not too bad, but the head angle is still steep, and they don't show the bottom bracket height.

I'm not sure if you're insisting on new, but there are a few used frames and frame packages in the Marketplace section (including my Azonic).

What price range are you looking at? The 2008 Black Market Riot retails for $399, but many shops may discount it. I think The Path may have some 2007 models for a lower price.

I was hoping to pay around 100 bucks. LOL. I don't see why any simple hard tail Al frame should cost much more.

Mud! The color is PIMP, dude. Can't wait to see it in real life this Saturday! Hint-hint.

I always thought of Chumba as freeriders and some DH action. You guys will need to bring the noise if you're going to step up into this arena! Lot of good bike frames out there.

Lee-Is it built yet???? Did you go with a different color as well or is it the same frame, longer TT?

I don't think the bike will be built in time, and even then I doubt I'll be ready for the race. My current build spec is already out of my tax return budget. looks like the Mud is going to have to dip into the savings again..

I'm going to slightly change up the specs so stay tuned for the complete!

Bob any particular handlebars you recommend? certain rise or sweep?

doesn't have anything to do with the frame though does it? I've heard a few complaints about marz lately. But a lot of them can be fixed by suspension shops. Try garage works. I'll be bringing my fork there once my Mob is done.
