Do you take welfare cases? I'm about ready to throw my freeloading son out.

I love my sister with all my heart but my younger sister is a freeloader off my Mom and step dad as well. She had everything handed to her when she was younger and at 24 she still has everything handed to her. My mom paid her yes I said paid her to go to school after high school. They paid her rent or let her live with them (at this time she lives with them). Lets see they pay for her car, insurance, registration, and cell phone. She lives in Vegas with them and now she has dropped out of school and works in the clothing retail line. She plans on moving back out to California and already I am seeing the writing on the wall from my Mom asking me if I can check on my sister's car because she douse not change the fluids on her car, thats another story. I told my mom its her and my step dad's fault that she has no work ethic.

Me on the other hand some misfortunes growing up somewhat poor with my Dad in the hood of Baldwin Park until the age of 13 until I went on to live with my Mom. My dad was hard on me, made up my work ethic and its something that I pride myself on. I was kicked out of my Mom and step dad's house at the age of 18 (step dad and I did not get along) and from their it was either sink or swim. The only time I came back to my mom's house to live was for a month and it was when I graduated from collage. Oh yea I paid for my own education as well and have the student loans to prove it. I was out of the house in one month after my step dad asked me when I was going to leave. I informed my step dad that I was going to leave in three days and checked myself into jail for 5 five traffic warrants that I did not pay. My mom was upset because "Mommie's Little Monster" one month after graduating with my BSEE I had all my tickets conjoined and headed off to jail. My mom proceeds to tell me that she would have paid for my tickets after I got out of jail. I informed my mom that I would rather sit in jail than take her or my step dad's money.

I thought about going to law school and I told my sister if I had her life I would take advantage of it. At this time if my mom wanted me home at a certain time at night and I got to go to law school on her dime I would be home in bed by 900PM. Some people don't know how good they have it until its taken away from them. Growing up my dad was so hard on me but he installed pride and work ethic. I hated him growing up but now if it was not for him I would proberly be ghey (Note to all STR Homosexuals or Lesbians I am not saying being ghey is a bad thing, I love ghey people and have ghey friends), dead or working at a buffet line in Vegas.

Sorry for the long rant about freeloading. I hope you guys get a room mate.

<--- Similar situation. Younger brother always had everything handed to him. Now he has been out of HS for 2 years, washing dishes at some restaurant. Lives at home, doesn't pay his insurance or phone bill or anything. His car is paid off (he bought it used) but mom pays for repairs (about every week and they are not cheap, he has a 93 m3) and mom even bailed him out of like 3 tickets he had that escalated to about 1k

At least they have jobs. I have personal experience with one that does NOT! No school or job.

OK. I think this thread is getting hijacked. hehehe. Is it the kids faults or the parents? I immigrated here from another country and I can see 2nd generation kids getting spoiled by their parents because the parents don't want their kids having to experience the same hardships that they went thru. But because of that the kids grow up to be lazy and just mooch of their parents. I see this with parents that has to work 2 jobs just to have the "lifestyle".

No rant here... just an observation. Now let's get back to finding a roomate for Jason and Willie!

Yo Dudes, I'm thinkin' that I need a crash pad for when the 'rents are on the warpath. Also it would be a good place to bring the ladies.
Good thing that I didn't waste my cash on a clown like that kid in the TV commercial, what a dumb a$$ (a clown?).
