sitting at St.Louis international Airport and Beer Garden, and it sounds like an airshow. why? Air National Guard is "playing". in what? f-15's. oh man. what a sound! they're taking off and then going nearly vertical- out of sight from the terminal in no time!

having that sort of a power/weight ratio helps, i guess

sorry- zero pics. Im useless...

I've had that same privilege at that airport. Those F-15s has such a distintive sound. Even when you are inside an airport terminal.

The southwest terminal I was at directly paralleled the runway they were taking off on. A four-ship flight was taking off for exercises. The last one rolled 90 deg on take off and did a knife edge pass for the terminal then rolled back for his climb out.
