This subject of strays reminded me of our Noble ride when we found out some a-hole dumped a couple kittens in the pit toilet. The poor things were covered in sh1t and crying like crazy. Luckily one of the guys had a towel he dropped down in there for them to climb out. I'm not a big animal lover but that kind of thing really pisses me off.

People at pets mart said she might grow to about 40 pounds. I don't think she will stay as small as she is now, but i am not sure i believe she will get up to 40 pounds.

The vet said she looks like some sort of chihuahua mix, so she will probably stay fairly small.

Want another dog to put in sweaters? We think the one we found is part chihuahua. Going on 2 weeks since we found her and she has not grown in size or weight or anything. Got all her shots, and she didnt have parvo or anything

Don't forget to look into animal rescue groups and no-kill shelters if you must give him up.

Ugh...dogs in sweaters...

Our little dog gets no sweaters and she is just fine.

We have a 10yr.-old Mini-Pinscher who starts shivering in the winter nowdays. The wife made him a sweatshirt with a hoodie on it.Now he looks like a little thug with it on , but he loves it.Thinks he looks cool! Our 3yr. old black Lab on the other hand won't wear any type of sweater or sweatshirt, even when we go up in the snow .- Lloyd

We have a long-haired Chihuahua and a Dachshund that has a coat about 1/16 thick. They are excellent at burrowing into blankets, but do just fine in the cold - sans sweaters.
Even on the coldest days I have never found their ear tips or noses cold. They do sleep inside though.
The Chihuahua is a master of the 'Won't you let me in?' shiver - even on a 80 degree day....

Is his name Belichick?

BTW: Fontucky looks familiar. This is ours, named "Mooch." Also came to us as a stray, an is an awesome cat.
