Not sure I agree. I use the web about 90% of the time I'm awake for work, teaching and personal stuff. When I do watch TV its either Sports, News or a Movie. When I have the time, I will drop both of those most times for a ride on the trail.

It could work either way. It can potentially keep the numb nuts on the keyboard rather than digging holes in the trails we ride but I do agree that the future generation is screwed partially due to the internet. No exposure to the outside world and the loss of social interaction. Before you know it, we will be riding alone on some trail with a web cam on our helmet while chatting with another buddy riding in France.
