I'm definitely beyond the legal percentage for posting....

With that lame All-Star game over and done with, it's time to focus on the last half of the season! This place needs a hockey thread, this might as well be it.

There's no denying Ovechin's talent. However, he's a bit one dimensional, don't ya think.

Besides, the Pens got the better Russian!

I don't know if Malkin is better. I'm just sick of all the attention Crosby gets honestly. I agree he's good. I just don't think he's the next great one. It's a whole different sport now.

I agree about the Sid attention thing. Look, the league is pushing this, they need to attract a few more fans and he is the golden child. But, you gotta respect how he deals with it. The guy is way mellow off ice, humble to the core. The attention doesn't faze him. He plays hard every shift, that's how he got hurt.

You never saw Gretzky laying himself out like that. Not even the real Great One, Lemiuex
