Thanks for the advice. I might take a chance. Her rating looks good and she is shipping with insurance. I like the fact that I can take it out of the box and not have to do a lot of fix-up right away. I've never owned a 29er but have always wanted to try one out. Seems like a cool 'road-worthy' ride. Someone on here called it an urban wonder or something. I'll let you know how it turns out when I get it...
