Just a thought..

Drive to the Fullerton Amtrak Station
Hop on a train headed for San Diego
Hop off the train at a point nearest to STONE.

1) A San Diego STR member can drive you/us to Stone (and back to the train station)
2) An STR member driving down from the OC can pick you/us up at the train station- drive us back to the train station after an afternoon of drinking.
3) Some sort of Dial-A-Ride Service can pick us up... drop us off

....Should be plenty sober by the time you/we arrive in Fullerton.
Then again, I don't know how close Stone would be to the train station.

Just an idea!

Stone is kind of in the middle of nowhere as far as I could tell. I've been there a few times.

Does anyone know the trains well enough to get us somewhere in the vicinity of Stone?

Maybe at the Oceanside Transit Center, might then want to check out the Sprinter line as it runs to Escondido from Oceanside

Can drive yes, but my little pickup will only hold one other person.

I can take one person in the area. If there isnt a single who needs a ride, im driving my motorcycle. As long as its not raining.

Oceanside is the closest. I dont think the sprinter is open to the public yet.

The Oceanside station is 20 miles away. I'll see if my lovely wife wants to drive. It may cost someone buying her a nice glass of wine, but that's a small price to pay.
