Girl Scout cookies - the ultimate training fuel
It's that time of year again - Girl Scout cookie time!
Megan will be selling cookies starting on Saturday morning, and I can hook you up with some delicious cookies. Did you know that Girl Scout cookies are the official training food of the Counting Coup and Vision Quest? (At least, I think I heard that...) Cookies.jpg Here is Megan selling cookies to Chipster's son Ryan last year: Brownie.jpg Cookies are $4/box, payable on delivery. I can make deliveries to the south OC area, and if I get enough orders I can make a special delivery to Roscoe's after the Fully Loop or other STR events. Attention STR Weight Loss Challenge contestants: Please consider donating a box or boxes to the Second Harvest Food Bank or to Helping Our Troops. The cookies would be greatly appreciated! I can handle the details of your donation, and you will receive a tax deductible receipt. Some of the cookie names have changed this year, but the cookies are still the same... Support the Girl Scouts - it is a great organization. When girls sell cookies, they learn self-confidence, teamwork, goal setting, time and money management and personal responsibility. FYI - Cookies will arrive on Saturday, Feb 23rd.
Sales at local grocery stores, etc., don't start until Feb. 29th, so you can get your cookie fix earlier if you order directly from a girl scout! One time this dude at my work was selling stuff for his kid at work so I order these tub of cookies that looked good and they were the cheapest think on the menu, well a two months past and I get my cookies allright, except its all cookie dough mix. I was POed mainly at myself I should have read the fine print.

Why are Tagalongs now "Peanut Butter Patties" ??
And Samoas are now "Caramel Delites" --that's misleading! Those are full of coconut and fat. That's why theyre so tasty! I'll get back to you with my order

I have never had a sweet tooth. My mom used to deny me desert if I did not eat my veggies, it never worked.I think the last time I ate any candy was like 2yrs ago. I hate chocolate by the way! I now have to dodge my boss, I'm on his lap top!

My mom's a girl scout leader and with the str weight loss stuff going on it looks like I'm gonna buy a crapload of samoas and hide them til my belly size permits.
edit: Caramel deLites? What kind of blasphemy is this?!?! Why haven't they retained their most honorable name of samoas? edit to my edit: The girl scouts in our area get thier cookies from a different baker than your area. So different name, and some varying cookies. |
