Peet's not only has great coffee, their teas are fabulous too! I get the loose leaf. Pride of the Port is my favorite of the black teas. Pumphrey's Blend is amazing, it's a blend of both black and green teas.

there's apparently a loose-leaf tea store in the "shops at mission viejo".

I don't know of any. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is definitely better for tea than coffee. Peets is alright. I just buy it at the store. Whole Foods and Bristol Farms are the best places I've found, but half of what's available is fruity "herbal" tea.

don't forget your local friendly Trader Joes! they sometimes have loose-leaf.
