We have discovered an account with the total sum of Twenty One Million Five Hundred Thousand United State Dollars ($21.5 Million) that has not been operated on for the past 5 years.From our investigations,We have found out that this accounts belongs to one of our foreign client Late Engineer Ziya Bazhayev a Russian big time Oil dealer who died along sides his wife, and their two children including several others in Ikeja,Lagos State, Nigeria on January 27, 2002 as a result of a bomb blast. We have kept a close monitoring of the account since then and nobody have come forward to claim the money as next of kin to our late client meaning that no one is aware of the account. We can not directly take out this money without the help of a foreigner and that is why I am contacting you for your assistance to claim the funds and share it with you equatably otherwise the funds will be returned to the banks treasury as unclaimed fund.

I'm surprised you even had to ask. I'm sure your post was meant more rhetorically. I was at the bank last week doing a wire transfer for a business transaction and the form you have to fill out now was a testament of the times we're living in & the kind of cons people fall for everyday. You had to answer yes or no to questions like "Were you contacted by someone promising you an inheritance, an unclaimed lottery, an unclaimed fund, etc. etc." Obviously, the banks don't want to be liable for peoples acts of stupidity and acts of desperation.

I get those all the time. I always respond by saying I have reported this E-mail to the appropriate authorities and contacted a lawyer to help me get what is mine.No response so far.
