Anyone going to see Van Halen tonight?

most likely you're in for a good show. Three Van Halen's and some guy named Roth. I've seen some clips on u-tube and Roth sounds OK but Edddie is shredding.

I saw them on Tuesday at the Honda Center and it was a pretty good show. Roth was a little to much of a dancing queen for my taste and his voice was a little off but he still put on a good show. Of course Eddie and Co. simply rocked. Period.

The turnout was good even with the pouring rain and holy crap that had to be one of the loudest shows I've ever been to!

They won't disappoint!

If you want to buy tickets real cheap just go to Gordan and Biersch all the ticket scalpers/brokers hang out their try to offload the tickets. Just wait like ten min before the concert starts and you will get tickets below face. At this time they just want to get anything they possibly can. I know the tricks I used to work in the ticket broker buisness.

Damone's Tickets was the name of my little broker company. Do you all know how I got the name Damone's?

The doors closed on that place years ago....unless you are talking about JT's across the street from the Pond/Honda center....

I went Tuesday, sat in the nosebleeds. Great show. Dave sounded great, Eddie sounded great, sweet guitar solos & drum solos, story time with David Lee Roth. They played all the old pre-Van Hagar tunes.
My boss had nosebleed tickets but walked down and found seats near the mixing board.
F Michael Anthony, his hair was lame anyway. He belongs with Hagar. Wolfgang Van Halen can play those lame 1 note, one handed basslines just as good as any other. Besides, he's the son of Eddie Van Halen, he can't be bad on the strings.

It was pretty freaking good, but from where I sat it sounded like they were blowing out the speaker and they were starting to distort.

Its Sammy for me I cant stand DLR allthough when VH first came out I liked them alot but with Sammy they got that much better. Here are a few pics from Sammy and the Wabos last year and Mikey btw they ROCKED it

Not only can Mike Anthony play but what is missed more is his background vocals. Can Eddie play background missing half a tongue? No. I love old and new Van Halen and I am sure they put on a great show but Eddie in my book is a piece of S#&t for what he did to his band mate of over 30 years.
