Funny, or interesting thing. I have two boys, 11 and 10 years old. My older son is not interested in mt biking, while my younger son is stoked about it.
I just walked out to my garage where I have a PS2 set up in full surround, many, many speakers for the kids, and heck even when I want to chill. Anyhow, I just go out there and my older son is totally rocking on DownHill Domination (as Tara Llannes), and I never really thought about it before, but he absolutly owns that game, but doesn't really care for the actual riding. My younger son could care less about the game, and is in fact horrible at it, as he is at just about all the PS2 games, but when it comes ride time I hardly ever get a "no thanks daddy, I'm playing". It's usually, "where we gonna go daddy?" ![]() |

my youngest (2yo) likes to tinker w/ his bike more than ride it, my 4yo loves to ride and like me to pull him up so he can pretend he's doing tricks, and my 7yo daughter just loves to ride and race her friend. I've got a good squad so far

This is the older son on his new stoke just days after getting this ramp for his birthday. Although shortlived, it is just a memory.

DownHill Domination got me to Iowa and back-
During last summer my wife, 2 year old, and my in-laws drove back to Iowa. The in-laws and wife thought it would be fun- Thank god for new technology- Using the rca inputs I was able to play the PS2 when I wasn't driving- DHD and katamari damashi save my sanity.

Nice..
When I was kid, high technology was the Atari 2600 on a console T.V. the size of a volkswagon. Our road trips consisted of mom and dads threats of pulling over, finding a switch, or making us walk....all while listening to an 8-track of Julio Eglasias or Tom Jones. |

My brother and I are similar to your two boys. I really enjoy riding and generally being outdoors. He hates camping and going anywhere that doesn't include room service. When we were growing up, he hated being dirty. I couldn't get enough of it. Different strokes I guess...

Wierd huh. My brother and I were (are) complete opposites as well.
At any given time I can go into the garage and the kids (my own and a bunch of the neighbors kids) are gaming it out on the PS2 or battling on the air-hocky table, and or playng ball out front its kidopolous here. |
