Fashion faux pas of 2007

Okay, this might be a bit metro but here's my quick list of fashion faux pa's for 2007, give or take...

1. Boda bags aka fanny packs.
2. Any adults wearing Crocs.
3a. Any Adults wearing Teva Terra sport sandals.
3b. Socks with any sandals or flip-flops.
4. "Old guys rule" t-shirts (no matter your age).
5. Big Dog anything. Nothing says WT more than Big Dog.
6. Any adult still wearing gap or Levi's jeans or shorts from the 80's and 90's, hiked-up to the belly button.
7. too short shorts. You don't have to be sagging or wear shorts below your knees but you also don't have to look like Larry Bird and Magic Johnson from 1980.

I'm sure I'll think of more but these are big no-no's. I know some of you are guilty of some or all of the above mentioned. I will not make any apologies. Consider it an awakening or a realization to get up to speed. You can thank me later or you can thank me now.

What about ultra low-rise jeans that are so tight they give the wearer a double hourglass shape (aka muffin top). Not attractive...

Or Ugg Boots on a warm SoCal winter day with tank top, shorts, and a knit scarf? Yes, I've seen it a few times I'm afraid.

Similar to thongs (also a fashion faux pas now), one must choose very carefully on what fits their body type and dress accordingly. Nothing worse than seeing women wear jeans too low cut and tight for their body type with all their junk for the world to see. Now if they were hot, that's a whole different story.

Ugg Boots in California! Or, any cold weather gear clothing in Southern California!

I see these SoCal chicks walking around here with fur lined coats and Uggs on during the winter and it KILLS me.

I've heard cash-out refinances to buy new BMWs are out now too.....

Here is what is out and I can't stand. I know not all will be clothing related
1. guys wearing their baseball caps sideways
2. Saging Baggie Jeans, really your a waist size 30 wearing a 44
3. Tribal Tatts
4. Metrosexuals (you are either gey or not, come out of the closet)
5. Steinbrenner (he is gey)
6. The Yankees (they are all gey)
7. The Angels (Disney gey)
8. Ugg boots

every time i see someone wearing ugg boots i wish that murder wasn't illegal. I'm all about vigilante justice and natural selection. That goes double if ugg boots are worn in conjunction with a skirt. or a guy is wearing them.

If anyone hasn't seen "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" circa 1988 and directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, it's must see comedy with an all-star cast. Jim Brown and Antonio Fargas were a riot!
