That was a great web site for Justin Winery.

The wife & I are sending our daughter to Sonoma St. and we joined a twice-a-year club with Iron Horse Winery (no relation to Dino). It's nice to visit my daughter and then drive a few miles north for a private tasting.

Not a supermarket wine for sure. We just got four bottles last week. We're saving two for Thanksgiving and we'll let one age for a few years....

nice- iron horse has a Ferrari-esque label as well, eh? well, at least with the horse facing the proper way, unlike the bike co (dons tomato shield for that one)

next time you're in need of a wine trip, head to Paso Robles- why? it's way closer, more affordable, and the wine's as good as sanapanoma. (joke for the whinos)

other Paso wines to try found at your local Trader Joes: Castoro Cellars. Dam Fine wine (motto and they live up to it)

I know people like that- we started calling the girlfriends "flava" as it was a new "flava" every month.

Justin is some great wine. I have really been into V. Sattui wines lately, they have a lot of depth and many of the wines are very versatile.

Nice choice Pugz. It's cool how they'll deliver to your door. We order a few times a year. If you're ever in the valley, stop in the winery. It has a very cozy deli and outdoor picnic area. The wifey likes the place too.

my favorite labels have to be Dynamite and Bonny Doon. dynamite for the art, and bonny doon for the strangeness. (ever seen the "cardinal zin" label? eek!)

My sister gave me 6 months of Beer of the Month Club and I got my last shipment last week. It was always nice seeing that big box on my doorstep. The beers were descent enough, but not enough for me to keep the membership going.

I'm also a wine club member of Mosby in Santa Barbara. They specialize in Italian varietals grown locally and have won many awards. I signed up after getting drunk in the their tasting room but haven't regretted it. Plus they've got the best looking labels.

In the past I had considered doing Michael Jackson's Rare Beer club, but too many of the beers were readily available for me to want to pay extra for them to ship me what I could buy at some good local beer shops for less.

What about this Michael Jackson alcoholic beverage. It's highly recommended by 11 year old boys.

ok, so the list:
2 Justification (red blend) wasn't expecting that!!!
1 syrah
1 cab
1 reserve chard
1 sauvignon blanc.

according to justin, the white wines are "drink now" and the reds are "wait till 2008 or so". sweet- turkey day is coming up- two bottles to go!

got a link for that??? I'm about to gut a cabinet in our kitchen and install something like that- what's the temp range? (basically, will it go warm enough for reds???)

I got it at the costco in Fountain Valley on Talbert and Newhope, but no telling if they have more, you know how costco is about that stuff...the temp is adjustable, and according to stuff Ive read you want to stay bewteen 50-60 so I have mine at 55...its even got a really cool light. I'll take a pict of it when I get home...

very close to this one, but its not tall like that.

[SIZE=3]I was thinking about starting a wine club for us hard knocks old skool folks'.
Thunderbird and Blue Nun is a prerequisite; and corks and wine glasses are grounds for automatic lifetime ban from our elite and exclusive club.

Anyone, anyone?
