All better and ready to go. Rode Peter's on Tuesday and it feels back to normal, but now I have ham string cramps so I need to look up some fixes for that. I tried a new work out last night and I swear, if it's not one thing it's another but this isn't enough to keep me off the bike :-)
I have not made it out to the loop lately because I am still timid to go on night rides and the days are getting shorter which means more of the ride will be in the dark. But Joel has been great about getting me out to new places and trying to ease me into night rides since I will miss riding if I don’t get out more than once a week come fall and winter.

I am hoping with your experience you can help me out a little. I am in the market for a new a bike. I really cannot decide what to do. I have researched a lot and find pros and cons to both. I am having a hard time deciding between full suspension and hard tail. My original idea was to stick with a hard tail and get better components. I thought a hard tail will force me to focus and in the end make me a better rider. I am not really looking to get into anything too technical at this point. The most technical I have done is Aliso and parts of the Loop. I did try out a full suspension last time I rode Aliso; and the only thing I will say is it was very comfortable and made going down meadows much easier; however, the only climbs that were easier were rocky areas such as troja. Climbing the longer steeper fire roads was nearly impossible to complete.

I was hoping to get your perspective as another female rider who I see to be very strong and someday hope to get as good as you. J

My initial thoughts were stay hard tail and then go to full suspension in a year or so when I am ready to do some more challenging technical stuff. I do see most people prefer the full suspension, but I need a female perspective also.
I'm home and had an incredible journey throughout Israel. Jerusalem is intoxicating. (Had 3 marriage proposals....one Arab Israeli offered 5,000 camels! hee hee). One stated if I remained there he'd take care of me the rest of my life. I said, "Me and who else, you got a harem?"
