Hey Dave, I don't ride with anyone local, usually just a bunch of guys from work. I do ride with JeffJ in Castaic quite a bit, usually the Tapia loop on Friday mornings. I used to live in Palmdale in '92, off of Ave. S and 10th East. I used to ride the dump on Tierra Subida a lot or drive to Devil's Punchbowl. Recently we have been riding the Santa Monica's of Palos Verdes (at least the trails that are still open to bikes!). My fitness level is far from where it was in the late 90's. I had lower back surgery in 2000 and stayed off of my bike for 7 years. I just bought a full suspension bike last year and started riding again. I'm a pretty slow climber but love going downhill and some jumping. I rode Mammoth a few times last year and had a blast. Let me know if you would like to hit up Castaic sometime, i'm usually off work on Fridays and like to hit it early. I'll P.M. you next time I go.

Rich, not sure I ever met you; where, when do you usually ride? What kind of riding? Do you ever ride with Regis, Dave Sargent, Rich Bartlet, Dan Munz, Mike Grace? I've been mtb riding mostly behind my house at P&30 to get back into shape (behind highland HS) and am just starting to get some road mileage in. Let me know if you ever want to meet up for a local ride.

I live by Highland HS and have been riding mtb in the AV since about 1992. Used to hang out with the Proflex team back in the day and was last racing sport XC w/ a bicycle john's jersey 2004-2006. I'm not fit right now as I'm getting back into riding after some medical issues but hope to be fit by the end of summer.
