It's going to be on the 25th at Vendome in Placentia. I'm working on the list this week, but it'll be halloween-themed beers, i.e. Duvel, damnation, Fantome, Judgement Day...lots of good belgian stuff. I'll remind you before then.

It's a long story but currently we are living in Arizona and unable to sell our house! We used to live in Aliso Viejo and plan to move back a.s.a.p. With the credit crunch/housing market being what it is, that might take some time...

We try to make regular trips back to the OC. When in town, I ride LCWP, El Moro, Aliso-Wood, and anywhere in the Santa Ana mountains. I would also be up for riding elsewhere in SoCal.

I will let you know when I'm next in town and maybe we can try to get together for a ride. Let me know if you make a trip out to the Phoenix area. This weekend was the first with temps in the 70s...made for some great riding!!

I don't see anymore Wednesday's this month on the calendar - are you still riding Whiting? I gotta figure out the sand - everyone I've come across suck almost as bad as me. Like the moderate pace, don't want to hold up anyone.

Yeah I did a lot of research before getting mine and found nothing but good reviews. I am planning on getting the higher end one as soon as it comes out just because it's a better file format. What made up my mind in the end is the strap, it makes it so much easier to get a steady shot.

thanks, Rod. Appreciate your comment and pics of the video cameras. I wasn't thinking along those lines, but I'm considering that option now. Never heard of that company before. Good prices at Target on all their models.
