Default Looking for guy wanted 17 inch 6 point frame

He everyone,

There was a guy in the shop a couple of weeks ago and he wanted to buy a 17 inch 6.4 frame with some parts. Well, by the time that he came in to buy it somone else had baught it out from under him. Now, we have found another one that was not on our inventory. Unfortunately, no one here remembers his name. If any of you folks can put us back in touch, that would be great.

Thanks

That's still sitting in his garage half built.

No one can determine if it's really a Large or a medium.5

I believed he concluded that it is a large after comparing it with known large-sized frames.

Sorry Tani! But at least we're keeping the thread at the top, right?

It's only been a few hours... not everyone reads STR religiously all day.

Yeah, but there are a few of us who hit "refresh" every few minutes.

Since we (me?) pretty much bastardized this thread, I'll answer it here. Oct 13 looks like a good possibility for going to SB to ride Tunnel and Cold Springs. Unfortunately, I can't commit until we get closer to that weekend.

Default Hi Alison

We got your Demo this morning. I just told you on the phone that it is going back to Sram. Now we may be able to fix it here after all. Stay tuned.

Tell Roger that we have 08 Marzocchis expected in this week including several models of 888.

Thanks

Fortunately Roger got his 40 back today. I don't think his body could survive many more rides on the Totem.

It looks like that Totem was installed incorrectly. In both of those photos, the fork appears to be extending out the top of the frame.

Although maybe Roger's age is catching up with him (doubt it), and he just has sudden urges to curl up and take naps...?

He did mention was a bit reluctant to do the Flow Drop because of the fork. I guess those fears were realistic (and that was before either of these falls).

BUMP!!! Now that TANI'S thread is back on the front page..... Help us find the guy looking for an Iron Horse 6 Point frame. His description: Smart.... Savvy, Good Looking, Funny, a Path customer.... realizes the DW-LINK is the GREATEST linkage system in the world..... yeah, it does sound like me! If the frame was a 19"- it probably would be me!

And (NO) I wasn't shopping for a GIANT that day. DasBrink demoed a 6 Point. Unfortunately, he had already decided on the REIGN before we touched The Path's parking lot! Thanks again Tani!
