DeeZee,
it is a great frame. i ran it with 2x9 gearing and a lefty max. then, i ran it as an ss with a eno hub and a mullet brake set up (disc front, v-brake rear). that meant i had to ss 29er bike in the garage. i am getting rid of both since i got the green light on my dream ride....and i am not letting the cat outta the bag on that. as for this frame...it is light, i will weigh it later. it is plenty stiff for me....i ride 32x18 fixed and 32x20 w/ a freewheel. but, it was built for a lighter rider in mind (but do not think that scott sacraficed durability for weight). you're a really big guy, right? i am 6'1" and usually 170. the frame is great for someone 5'10" to 6'2" depending on your body type. i have long legs and ran a 120mm stem. very comfy ride too.
