so does anyone have an access frame and can verify that they are worth the 140 bucks?

Default Mine was bullet proof.

I can't speak for the new frames. I bought mine somewhere around 9 years ago. I abused it for 5 or 6 years with no problems. Then I donated the bike to a friend and he has used it with no problems. Soon it will be back in my hands and will hopefully become a bike for my wife. So, it was definitely worth the $120 I paid.

i have had one forever, totally bulletproof. not fancy, basic, but super strong. fun way to build a real cheap pretty light hardtail. i recommend taking the stickers off when you get it though...looks way better without.

only problem is they only take an 80mm fork.

either that or i was going to use my vanilla but thats like 130mm so its outta the question...

Check out Leader Frames too, I have one that I use all the time & it's been great. One of their hardtales will take anything from 120 to 160mm fork & is pretty solid, all their bikes have good reviews. Oh they are cheap I paid $80 for mine new.

i don't know if you could put another size fork on it, but the specs are based on an 80mm one.

I saw the Access frames on sale @ Performance for $130....the one at the Tustin Marketplace.

http://www.performancebike.com/shop/...tegory_ID=3020

Buy it between noon-2 on Tuesday and get 10% off. If you are a team member you get an additional 10% in points.

OR... There's a 15% off coupon on the web site + free shipping (And I think you still get your 10% in team performance points...

thats where i would order it from
and it says you get 15% with that code
so it will be around 100 dollars instead of 120 dollars
