Ok so i got a giant AC last march (06) for a bike to ride for a school fundraiser.... the first time riding the bike i put 100 miles on it around my school track in the dirt.... since then i have put easily over 1000 miles on it riding it to and from school and everywhere... i have ridden from CWP to raging waters a few times and the wilderness trail itself a few times.... ive used it for xc, and dh and even hucked a 25 foot stepdown... (until i snapped my fork and had to get a new one)
my question is, should i sell it and get a newer bike for xc type riding or stick with it? it needs upgrades since it still has a sinlge ring ( yes i ride CWP with it even though its a single ring in the front.... and yes it kciks my butt everytime) i want a new bike but im too young for a job and i have a feeling i can get 600 MAX out of this even with the somewhat new fox vanilla 32 any suggestions?

switch it to two or three rings, and ride it til it won't go anymore.

Hey, if you need a tripple chain ring set up, I have these on E-Bay right now.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESE:IT&ih=020 I'd do like Jay say's and just keep riding it 'til it dies.

I'd give you hand installing the BB & crankset, you'll need a front derailer & shifter & the cable.
I am in Lake Forest PM me if you need some help. Re reading your post sounds like you have everything, should be easy.
