I think it needs to be a Turner to ride in Scott's truck.

Lynn...

I'll do some deep thinking about parting mine out tonight. I really haven't been riding it enough as of late to keep it.

Is it just the frame you'd be interested in? frame/fork??

lynn, you're already getting too fast on the DH's and we don't need you on a bigger bike... the spot would be sweeeet bike to have though

Pike 454 AIR U-Turn - 20mm TA so might need a new front wheel/hub.

I let all bikes in my truck. The Turners just get the best spots.

I would probably just be interested in the frame.

Lynn, that is an excellent fork.

I can see her passing by me some day on the downhill, yelling "On your left slowpoke".

Pike 454 would be a sweet fork for the 5 spot. I have one on my Yeti 575 and love the plushness and ability to dial down the travel. I intend on bringing it with me to my next bike . . .

If anyone needs a small 5 spot, check out the frame closeouts on Competitive Cyclist.

For inquiring minds, here's the link: Specials - Competitive Cyclist and the info:

2006 Turner Five Spot
$1495.00 (Was $1895.00)
Weight: 2860.0
Available Sizes: Small (Anodized Black)

Too bad it's not the '07's - they bumped up the travel on the new ones.

If you end up buying the older 5" travel 5-spots and you want the longer travel. Look into getting those custom rockers from Push Ind. My buddy ran his spot that way with a Pike up front and really liked it!

True, the only significant change from the '06 to '07 Spot is the rockers......and the Push rockers will get you 5.7" of travel. I have yet to purchase the Push rockers because I don't really want a steeper head angle on my Spot even though I'm running a Pike on it already, I like a more laid back geometry.
