The full face helmet isn't supposed to fit totally inside the pocket go to this link:

DAKINE : APEX

It shows a ff helment mounted on it. I don't think it was ever designed to beable to fit the whole thing

You may have a lemon....I was concerned w/ the tube connection on the bottom of the bladder but have had NO problems even after landing on my back a couple of times..

i have the nomad as well as dig it. used to to run cb blowfish but staying with nomad for now. back padding takes a bit of "breaking-in" but after a few runs no issues and a pack that is built to last ( a bit heavier than similar others imo).

I am a big Dakine fan. I have the Apex, Nomad, Mission and I just picked up another Nomad. I love the internal pockets on them, they let you separate tools, food and tubes, pumps etc. instead of having eveything in a big clusterf@ck in the bottom. When you crash as much as I do you have to consider the yard sale syndrome.

How are you hooking the helmet? My buddy has the Nomad and get his Azonic full face on there no problem.
