Default A rigid SS 29er for $329

Sounds a little too good to be true at this price. No disc brake mounts is a bummer. That's a must-upgrade, I'd say. Someone on MTBR also said the gearing is way too tall. Otherwise, if this is legit, it's a pretty good deal for getting into a 29er, SS, rigid on the cheap. It's practically an impulse buy.

thats a good deal, getting a new chainring isn't a big deal either... my buddy just picked up a MC29er for $300 at the path so this isn't THAT great of a deal, but its still cheap

I actually think I might hold out for a MC29er Flight. It's got disc mounts, comes with good gearing and nicer components (and love that green). Plus, it'll take a fork and gears as upgrades, should I ever want to do that. This Motobecane seems less upgradable.

If the path sells a MC29 regular for $300, what's a Flight go for? Anyone know?

what the rap on Motobecane. I have seen this guy auction alot of their stuff on ebay before but always seemed to be lower end, so was a bit leary. always thought they had a higher end rep (higher end than stuff i had seen on ebay)

Some company bought the rights to the Motobecane name; these have nothing to do with the old ones.
